Titel:God or Nations
Auteur: William Durland
Samenvatting: The book began as an enlargement of a talk given at Jonah House in the spring of 1979, which later became a monograph for the Center on Law and Pacifism entitled "Kingdom or Holocaust", Philip Berrigan urged enlargement of the monograph for publication and here it is. So it is dedicated to Phil Berrigan and Liz McAlister, to Jonah House, to the Catholic Worker Movement and to all the houses and communities that make up the religious peace movement today. William Durland is an author, teacher, lawyer and theologian. Since 1970 he has been active in the religious peace movement in the United States. He is a founder of numerous peace communities and organizations such as The Community for Creative Nonviolence and The Center on Law and Pacifism. Bill and his wife Genie and son Chris live in southern Colorado, where Bill teaches and he and Genie write and continue to witness against oppressive world powers and for the beloved community coming.
